About the instructor:
Alex Verkade is a sewer and pattern maker inspired by finding creative ways to reuse textiles. She is the artist behind Terry Zee Studio, making clothing and accessories from salvaged goods such as bedsheets, blankets, curtains, and clothing. Alex also hosts workshops with a focus on secondhand materials, skill sharing, and play.
